Open up a world of possibilities for swimmers
The City of Sydney Aquatic Club is a fun and competitive swim club, whose swimmers compete at local, MetSEA (Area), Metropolitan, State and National championships in both pool and open-water events. The club hosts race nights for all ages and abilities once a month across 3 City of Sydney Pools – Cook & Phillip Park, Gunyama Park Aquatic and Recreation Centre and Ian Thorpe Aquatic Centre. Club Races include a variety of events from 25m to 1500m races and are officially timed under official Swimming NSW rules and run by qualified technical officials.
All City of Sydney squad members are encouraged to become members of the City of Sydney Aquatic Club and represent the club at all levels of competition. Our Club Committee along with the coaches strive to promote an inclusive and informative atmosphere across all squads in the City of Sydney program. All swimmers are encouraged to explore all aspects of their swimming, including participating in pool competitions, as well as open water events and school carnivals. The club organises various social outings throughout the year for its members to form new bonds and make lasting friendships.
The club has a growing number of technical officials and committee members, encouraging all parents and guardians to become involved in the delivery of club events and activities. Memberships are available for swimmers of all ages, with non-swimmer and life memberships also available.
