Open up a world of possibilities for swimmers
The City of Sydney Aquatic Club is a fun and competitive swim club, whose swimmers compete at local, MetSEA (Area), Metropolitan, State and National championships in both pool and open-water events. The club hosts race nights for all ages and abilities once a month across 3 City of Sydney Pools – Cook & Phillip Park, Gunyama Park Aquatic and Recreation Centre and Ian Thorpe Aquatic Centre. Club Races include a variety of events from 25m to 1500m races and are officially timed under official Swimming NSW rules and run by qualified technical officials.
All City of Sydney squad members are encouraged to become members of the City of Sydney Aquatic Club and represent the club at all levels of competition. Our Club Committee along with the coaches strive to promote an inclusive, informative and fun environment for all swimmers. The club organises various social and training events throughout the year promoting swimming as a sport and providing opportunities for the members to form new bonds and make lasting friendships.
The club has a growing number of technical officials and committee members, encouraging all parents and guardians to become involved in the delivery of club events and activities. A range of memberships are available to suit all swimmers and volunteers.
